In addition, we have purchased the Davis WeatherLink software and interface that connects the base station to a computer. It displays the weather information in a variety of ways and historical tracks of weather features are displayed, if queried.
There is also a weather prediction feature and a statement of what it's like outside.
We would like to be able to display the data, in a very easy-to-use way, on a website that can be linked from one of the Pace websites. There are several classes (environmental science and meteorology) that can use the information immediately and are very anxious to have it available.
WeatherLink software and related information for this project can be found at WeatherLink Information.
If this project is successful, it will get the attention of Mike Roberts, Dean of Dyson, and Rich Schlesinger, Head of Biological Sciences.
